Close Quarters Battle (2 Day)

This is a joint training venture with DA1 and Kinetic Consulting

Course is open to all students who have a willing to learn the arts of CQB

This highly intensive 16 hour CQB training course covers moving and fighting inside structures using DA1's 9,000 Sqft. shoothouse. This class will introduce students to techniques utilized in the safe clearing of structures. The entire course is conducted using UTM non-lethal training ammunition (NLTA).

Students will be facing live role players during day 2 of class. Students may bring their own NLTA ammunition or it may be purchased on site at a reduced rate. If you wish to purchase in advance please email us.

  • Dynamic clearing techniques

  • Combat clearing/deliberate techniques 

  • Techniques for moving through structures

  • Engaging potential threats while limiting exposure to the shooter

  • Danger areas and Priority of Threat

  • Use of Force Decisions

Why do we use NLTA during training?

  • Absolutely the safest most realistic way to train with a firearm

  • Able to train with same firearm that you normally carry

  • Lets members encounter real-life engagements

  • Enables the instructors to apply different amounts of stress to individual scenarios

  • Helps test theories of tactics and what works in the real world


Required Equipment

  • Sturdy Belt

  • AR15 and sling

  • Holster (Glock 19 or 23) These will also be provided if using one of our supplied conversion kits

  • Pants (No shorts)

  • Short & long sleeve shirt (long sleeve required for day 2)

  • Eye protection

  • Closed toe shoes

  • Gloves

  • Groin Protection (day 2)

Optional Equipment

  • Personal Glock 19/23

  • Heavy clothing to protect against the NLTA

  • Plate carrier/armor

  • Helmet

  • AR15 and/or Glock magazine Pouch
