The DA1 Home & Personal Protection for Women is a specially designed curriculum to help enhance a woman's awareness in today's heightened security world. Many women are choosing to carry a firearm, however simply buying and carrying a gun is not enough. Proper training is an essential part to owning a firearm. This class will not only give you the tools you need to responsibly carry a firearm, but will also teach you how to properly handle a hostile situation. Class will focus on both firearms techniques as well as many hand to hand techniques. Weapons can not be your only option when protecting yourself or others.

The Home & Personal Protection class goes above and beyond the normal check in the box to get your concealed weapons permit. Our instructors will cover everything from how to handle a firearm to force-on-force scenarios with role players. Role players are often utilized by military and law enforcement to create the most realistic training possible, DA1 utilizes the same methodology to ensure civilians are properly prepared for their every day lives.

Students will be utilizing non-lethal training ammunition (NLTA) for force on force scenarios to provide the most realistic situations as possible. The military and law enforcement communities have used these training tools for years, and now DA1 is bringing them to the civilian sector. This class takes students further into weapons proficiency, far surpassing the minimum requirements when obtaining their CCW.
